Fadwa Bouziane is a Canadian artist and PhD researcher at Burren College of Art. Her artistic practice is based on personal experiences as a racialised woman. Her research examines how performance art and storytelling are catalysts to transform trauma embedded in the body. Bouziane uses performance art to analyse connections between identity, body, and mind. Her movement-based practice unpacks long-term tensions stored in the body.
