Through improvisation, David Fludd uses rich colours, rhythmic textures and atmospheric perspectives to compose paintings intended to evolve and change as their are viewed.

"In my practice, I orchestrate paint applications with variations of form, contrasting rhythmic textures, complementary colours, and atmospheric perspective. I created these pieces through an improvisational process that allowed me to form spontaneous compositions with paint as it changed on the canvas. Each composition represents a distinct set of decisions, yet all the pieces remain conceptually interrelated. The works are intended to evolve and change as they are viewed."
